Studies in Oil

These paintings came about because I wanted to switch mediums from Acrylic to Oil paint. It was recommended by The Paint Coach to paint small before moving to large canvases. It is important to work out your ideas and challenges on a small area before you commit your materials, energy and ego to a grand piece. In this collection you will see all types of subject matter. Some you might even see in large format down the road.
