This is a little 8" by 8" canvas. I originally used it in a class to paint something completely different. The class was fun but I hated the results. No. they did not generate that much energy. I just identified it as "not me". So when this idea came along I painted over it.
I am becoming interested in figurative art. It started with my painting Couple on a Couch, which you will hear more about in another post. What captures my interest is the variety of brush stroke techniques, color palettes and the flow away from realism and detail.
I have an idea to do 4 of these canvases. The subject will be the same for all but I will use this as an exploration of color and technique.
